With the competition increasing with each passing year, and coaching centres sprouting up to prepare the students for the task ahead, It is important that a student knows that anyone who has prepared well can ace the NEET examination, regardless of attending a coaching centre or otherwise. However, here are some tips to crack NEET 2019.
As a student preparing to attempt one of India’s most competitive exams, it is vital that one has a clear idea of what one is preparing for. Therefore, the first step is to do thorough research on the exam, the cut-off, details regarding the test, previous year results, previous year question papers and, most importantly, the syllabus of NEET 2020.
Identify and distinguish between the topics covered in schools and the additional topics for NEET. Prepare accordingly.
A timetable to discipline and schedule study hours would help a student cover topics effectively and efficiently, as well as utilise the limited time as best as possible. This applies especially to students who attempt the NEET examination during their 12th grade. They will have school work, deadlines, board assignments and board examinations looming ahead of them aside from NEET. Therefore, a study-table will help a student make the best of their time.
Students usually face the dilemma of “where to begin?”. The best place to start is at the beginning with the basics. An aspirant will have to have a thorough knowledge of the basic concepts of physics, chemistry, and biology. Starting at the beginning from the topics which are easy for the students, and then moving in deep to more challenging ones in order to gain an in-depth knowledge, is the best way to tackle the syllabus.
The internet is a student’s friend. Several sites, including the official website for NEET provide mock tests online. This will help an aspirant practice under time bound situations, recreating the examination at their home. But before attending NEET 2020, it is essential to revise the entire syllabus at least three times, thoroughly. A revision will help recall the details that have a chance of getting lost in translation. As they say, practice makes perfect.
But most importantly, believe in yourself! Believe in your abilities and trust your intuitions. The only way to crack NEET 2020 is through sincere, dedicated hard work combined with smart work. Hard work will always be rewarded. The only way that the hard work you’ll put in pays off is if you remain calm and collected and believe that you can do it.
We believe in you. We believe you can do it! We wish you the very best for your exams. May you crack NEET 2020!
