About West Visayas State University

West Visayas State University, College of Medicine is the second state-owned medical school in Philippines. This pioneer medical institute in Philippines was inaugurated in 1975. It is located in the main campus.

The 4-years MBBS course by WVSU is designed on problem based learning approach and have the last year (365 days) allotted for rotating clinical clerkship.
